Ssese Islands, Three Days
The slow ferry to Bugala Island, beaches on Lake Victoria, a forest walk, and two nights where the loudest thing is the water.
And if nobody else books your slot, it runs as a private tour — same price.
Hosted by OliviaKnows every bird on Mabamba swamp
Bugala is the largest of the 84 Ssese islands, and the ferry timetable sets the rhythm: out of Entebbe at 14:00, back on the 8:00 boat two mornings later.
In between: beach at Lutoboka bay, a guided forest walk across the island, fishing villages, boat rides, sport fishing if you want it — or nothing at all, which is rather the point.
Beachfront lodging in two tiers: Pearl Garden (midrange) or Brovad Sands (luxury). Say which when we confirm.
