Kibale Chimps with Steve
East Africa's highest primate density, tracked with a ranger — two days for the chimps, or three to carry on into Queen Elizabeth.
And if nobody else books your slot, it runs as a private tour — same price.
Hosted by SteveWalking Kampala since 2018
Kibale forest holds thirteen primate species; you're there for one hour with a habituated chimpanzee community, plus mangabeys, colobus and red-tailed monkeys along the way.
The two-day trip runs the itinerary below. The three-day version continues into Queen Elizabeth National Park: the two-hour Kazinga Channel boat among the hippos, a dawn game drive at Kasenyi, and the road home through Ishasha and the Equator.
Chimp permit, lodging, meals and transport are included. Lodges from budget (Forest Camp) to luxury (Kyaninga, Primate Lodge) — say which tier when we confirm.
