The closest savannah to Kampala, done properly in a day: out at 6:00, an Equator stop with a rolex for breakfast, and into the park by mid-morning.
Game drive among zebras, impalas, elands and buffalo, lunch, then two hours by boat on the lake with the hippos and crocodiles before the drive home.
Bring a camera, sunscreen and long trousers. Entrance fees, lunch and transport included.
