Out at 7:00, back by about 18:00 — a full day that earns it. First stop is Sezibwa Falls, a sacred site of the Baganda, with a short guided hike among red-tailed monkeys.

Then Mabira, Uganda's second-largest rainforest, for an hour under the canopy. Lunch in Jinja, and in the afternoon the boat: about an hour on Lake Victoria to the source of the Nile — the start of a 6,650 km journey to the Mediterranean.

Bring a camera, sunscreen, long trousers and a rain jacket. Entrance fees, the boat, lunch and transport are all included.

What guests say

Visited many interesting parts of Kampala (3.5h slow walk, lots of shade/roofed areas). Steve is very nice and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend!

Steve was a great guide, very friendly and knowledgable. I learned a lot not only about the sites we visited but also about the Ugandan society.
Gunes5GuruWalk, May 2025
Great tour. Steve knew a lot about history and was able to navigate the city well. He was also able to answer all of my questions.

I went for a city tour in Kampala with Steve and had a great time. Steve knows the city very well and gives you a look on the different faces that the city has to offer. He also has a chill vibe and he's a pleasant person to talk to.
